When I updated this space last week, I wrote that when it comes to college football, the only news this time of year is bad news. Since then, Jamar Hornsby has been kicked off the team and charged with credit card fraud. Freshman sensation Matt Patchan was shot Friday night. Thank goodness it is not serious. Please, guys, stay out of trouble and be safe!!!
